Chuck
is one of the top golfers to ever swing a club for Los Alamitos. He
was an All-CIF selection for Los Alamitos in 1975 and 1976, before heading
to UCLA where he earned All-American honors in 1978 and 1979, before
playing a few years on the PGA Tour. He also earned a degree in geography
as well as a degree from the UCLA Executive program at the Anderson
School of Business.
Chuck has maintained his loyalty to the Bruins by serving
as the stadium announcer at the Bruin football games and as the arena
announcer at Pauley Pavilion since 1993. Chuck has also been the stadium
announcer for every Rose Bowl since 2000.
In addition Chuck is the voice on numerous video games,
including Madden Football for EA Sports.
